Did you start the year with a New Year’s resolution?

I spent New Year’s Eve at Billabong Retreat (near Windsor) and had five magical days contemplating my vision for the new year.

During the day we headed to the billabong to pick flowers to create a mandala for our special ceremony.

We were also asked to write on paper a list of what was holding us back so we could let go of the past and welcome in the new year.

As I threw my list in a fire lit drum and watched it burn, I reflected on the year, the highs and lows, what worked and what didn’t, and I thought to myself what’s one word that could best describe my aspirations, goals and hopes for this new year.

The word that came to me was adventure!

I endeavour to be more adventurous in all aspects of my life i.e. cooking, travel, business, relationships.

So I’m not talking about bungee jumping eck!

Not that kind of adventure, but to get out of my comfort zone and try new things.

But that’s enough about me …

The reason I’m sharing this with you is because I know what it’s like to challenge yourself.

What would you like to get out of this year?

What’s your theme?

Can I help you make it happen?

I would love to support you on your journey, and to use the word you’ve selected to set your intention for the rest of the year.

Together we could work out a plan for the year, set some goals, improve your life balance and create the life you want to live.

If this is your first meeting, perhaps you would like to get to know me first and join my Facebook page Life Balance Coach Fiona Craig, or come along to my next, Women’s Success Circle gathering, where I run events for women to grow personally and professionally.

If you’d like to gain a deeper understanding of what’s holding you back from achieving your dreams and goals, then let’s set up a day and time to chat.

I will leave you with this little quote …

“Shine with all you have. When someone tries to blow you out, just take their oxygen and burn brighter.” –Katelyn S. Irons

So my wish for you is that every single day you shine brightly.
